28new retail misery
Well internets, I’ve spent the better part of the past couple of days re-grouping my photos from my old photoblog, creating a new layout and re-uploading them. Nothing serious, just my snapshots as well as my print work. They can be found here as well as the link in the navigation above. I still have to fiddle with the random image script, Pixelpost isn’t playing nicely with it.
I was recently hired at Circle K, and chain of convenience stores here. I won’t go too far into this because there’s really nothing to do into, Its a temporary position as a cashier until I move out and find something closer to Cleveland where our new apartment is. I am excited to have a little structure back in my life to combat the feelings of uselessness and boredom lately. One thing being jobless grants you is time, so I’ve been working on various creative ventures, illustrating, and spending more time playing with different jewelry styles. I’d love to get into metals further, I’m going to look for classes in Cleveland later this year once we get all settled in and whatnot. I am just so excited that its finally happening, and I can’t wait to organize everything in preparation for the move. It’s going to be a hectic couple of months.
I begin work tomorrow, with a shift from 7pm until 10pm. That sounded a little bizarre when they first told me, but apparently the training schedules are wonky. This friday I work from midnight until 6am. Whatever dude, I just need the money. Here’s to being a register slut for the next month or so.
