13Outrageous.
I know, I know I’ve been neglecting you, dear internets, but with good reason and sound justification. I’ve been painting non-stop for the past week and a half, and I have had the biggest surge of creative energy lately. It’s amazing how many ideas one really does have when you just let go and stop trying to make everything perfect. I’d go more in depth about what I’m doing, but my brain is going in a thousand directions at once and I am far too antsy.
I’m working on a fabulous redesign for the site, taking it back to a cutesier theme this time. I know how much you guy like my cute stuff, so it’s time for a switch. In between working on projects for clients, jumping out of my seat to paint at 3am and the onset of spring, things are a little crazy right now.
In other news, make that the BEST NEWS I’VE EVER HEARD IN MY LIFE, I received my tax returns early and was presently surprised by the amount. Needless to say, I think it’s Nikon time. It’s a good thing too, because my beloved Kodak took a shit on me two days ago. I’m hoping it’s something that can easily be fixed, because it’s a great camera. Not to mention it set me back $350 and I’ve only had it for three years.
This site will be in a stagnant transitional state for at least a week while I work out the kinks of the new theme, come up for an idea for a header illustration, continue my general state of madness and spend entire days frolicking in the sunshine with my shiny new Nikon.
