I’m only good at making two things: pancakes and eggs. These were so delicious so I’ll probably go on a pancake binge for a week or five.

Totally killed the lavender. My apologies for not updating my “daily” photo section for five days. I’m clearly on top of things. 

We held a surprise party for my sister’s 16th birthday, and this is one of the dozens of shots I took. I have so many photos to process from the party. 

We went to Hibachi Grill for my sister’s birthday this evening. They cook everything right in front of you, and the food is delicious.

Okay, so I can’t stand not having my window open. I love the breeze, and I just like having windows open. The problem with that, is that my room is in the basement. This means that my tiny window is at ground level. Aka bugs and spiders make their way in all the time, so I’m kind of used to scooping them up and putting them back outside.

I was sitting here enjoying my coffee, working on an illustration, and I see something twitch out of the corner of my eye. This huge thing was relaxing on my bulletin board right in front of my desk. It has engorged fangs?

My dad said it COULD be a brown recluse. I know we have those in Ohio, but I’m hoping this is just a common wolf spider because brown recluses? poisonous.

Taken a few nights ago at approximately 3am. This little guy has hung by my window for at least 5 years, and I love the form the origami crane makes.

Shot through the screen door, creating the vignette around the edges. Taken last Sunday when I was about ready to pull all of my hair out. And then put my bald head into the food processor. Sometimes you just need a little moment to yourself.

We’ve been having perfect weather lately, I’m loving it and apparently so is Jack. I love days like today where you can go out back and relax in the shade and watch the light filter through the trees, while your dog lays in the grass being cute. All without melting. 

This would be me, sitting on my deck and stalling before the job interview for the position I don’t really want. But money = an apartment, lenses and health insurance so I guess I’ll suck it up. I highly doubt I’ll get hired, considering I’ve been interviewed for it like 4 times now. The whole process is such a pain in the ass. Apologies for the lack of updates to my daily photo, I’ve been busy wanting to choke people.

This plus strong coffee? The best thing in the entire world. No joke. I normally buy the half-gallon size in this, that’s how much coffee I drink.
